Assembled magnetic cores

We offer the manufacture and supply of magnetic cores for power transformers and complete reactors.
“Assembled” – means that, in accordance with the design documentation, sheets of the magnetic circuit, insulating parts, metal structures of the core will be manufactured, as well as batching and assembly.

The photo shows the process of completing the assembly of a 3200kVA transformer magnetic circuit

Our own hoisting mechanisms and internal workshop transport allow us to produce fully assembled core cores weighing up to 6 tons.

Tank Shunt

Shunts of power transformers are made of transformer steel, and serve to localize the magnetic field of transformer coils. As a rule, shunts are used in the construction of tanks of power transformers with a capacity of 40 MVA and higher. The use of shunts allows to reduce the heating of the transformer tank walls and additional transformer losses.

Shunt for melting furnance

Magnetic cores of induction furnaces are made of transformer steel and serve to localize the magnetic field around the inductor, thereby increasing the efficiency of the inductor and reducing heating in the structural elements of the furnace. The shunt metal structures can be made of both conventional structural steel and non-magnetic steel, according to the customer’s specifications, our company also has experience in manufacturing magnetic cores with cooling by copper tubes. If a replacement of the magnetic circuit is required in the absence of documentation (TOR), our experienced engineers can go to the facility and draw up a TOR based on measurements of spent magnetic circuits.
