Custom Magnetic Cores
Custom magnetic cores developed for specific equipment requirements and design documentation.
Technology and delivery
Description
Custom magnetic cores are non-standard laminated magnetic systems for electrical and industrial equipment. They are used where a typical power-transformer geometry is unsuitable and a particular cross-section, layout, fixing method or integration into a specific installation is required.
Magnitosila works on projects that require adaptation to existing machinery, replacement of a worn product, a non-standard arrangement or compliance with installation-space restrictions. The design is developed from drawings, a technical specification or an available sample.
What we can manufacture
- magnetic cores for arc-suppression, current-limiting and filter reactors;
- magnetic cores for chokes, regulating and compensation equipment;
- magnetic systems for hardening and heat-treatment equipment;
- magnetic cores for load banks, test rigs and power units;
- custom single-phase and three-phase designs for industrial equipment;
- other non-standard magnetic systems to the customer's technical specification.
Engineering support
Our engineers review the input data, select the cutting and assembly process and, when necessary, adapt legacy drawings for modern materials and manufacturing. Critical cross-sections, electrical characteristics, geometry and reliability requirements are retained.
Supply format
Depending on the task, we can supply individual laminations, an assembly kit, an assembled magnetic core or a product complete with steelwork. Inspection, marking, packing and dispatch requirements are agreed before production begins.
