Magnetic cores laminations using combined joints

Sheets of magnetic cores according to the technology of combined joint (direct joint)

The combined joint, as well as the direct joint, are the most traditional technologies used in the manufacture of transformers. These technologies are used to reduce the cost of the magnetic circuit and simplify assembly. At the same time, no-load losses increase in comparison with STEP-LAP technology on similar magnetic cores. Also, direct and combined joints are used in a number of specialized (including furnace and induction) transformers.

The supply of individual sheets of the magnetic circuit according to the technology of direct and combined joints is relevant if the customer has specialized equipment, equipment and qualified personnel for self-assembly.

When shipped, the transversely cut electrical steel for magnetic cores with a combined joint is a set of magnetic core plates stacked in bags on pallets. Steel grade, plate geometry (see the section on technical production capabilities), requirements for stacking packages and fixing plates on pallets can be made in accordance with customer requirements.
