Assembled magnetic cores

We offer the manufacture and supply of magnetic cores for power transformers and complete reactors.
“Assembled” – means that, in accordance with the design documentation, sheets of the magnetic circuit, insulating parts, metal structures of the core will be manufactured, as well as batching and assembly.

The photo shows the process of completing the assembly of a 3200kVA transformer magnetic circuit

Our own hoisting mechanisms and internal workshop transport allow us to produce fully assembled core cores weighing up to 6 tons.

Tank Shunt

Magnetic shunts for power transformer tanks — engineered and manufactured from grain-oriented electrical steel to reduce tank wall heating and additional losses.

Transformer tank shunts are installed inside power transformer tanks to localize leakage magnetic fields generated by transformer windings. Their purpose is to reduce local heating of tank walls and structural elements, as well as to decrease additional transformer losses. As a rule, tank shunts are used in high-power transformers, typically from 40 MVA and above.

Parameter Capability
Product Transformer tank shunts
Material Grain-oriented electrical steel
Application Power transformer tanks
Typical transformer range 40 MVA and above
Length Up to 5 meters
Configuration According to customer drawings
Engineering support Drawing review, adaptation, technical consultation
Packaging Corrosion protection, transport-ready packaging

Tank shunts are not the most visible part of a power transformer, but they directly affect thermal behavior and loss performance.

Correctly designed and manufactured shunts help transformer manufacturers reduce risks related to local overheating, additional losses and long-term reliability of the transformer tank.

We are not a general metalworking company. We specialize in magnetic systems and electrical steel components for transformer manufacturers!

Our production includes electrical steel processing, magnetic core manufacturing, metal structures, engineering support, assembly, testing, painting, packaging and logistics.

Shunt for melting furnance

Magnetic cores of induction furnaces are made of transformer steel and serve to localize the magnetic field around the inductor, thereby increasing the efficiency of the inductor and reducing heating in the structural elements of the furnace. The shunt metal structures can be made of both conventional structural steel and non-magnetic steel, according to the customer’s specifications, our company also has experience in manufacturing magnetic cores with cooling by copper tubes. If a replacement of the magnetic circuit is required in the absence of documentation (TOR), our experienced engineers can go to the facility and draw up a TOR based on measurements of spent magnetic circuits.

5 years of magnetic cores production

This period can be called a “solid foundation” of our company. We are proud that the results of the first five years of production are: a streamlined process of production and shipment, reliable partnerships with customers and the formation of a close-knit team.

We dedicated a big celebration to the anniversary, where the company’s employees were able to hear a detailed report on the results of the work of all divisions.

Also, in the second part of the holiday, we received very valuable practical knowledge of first aid. The briefing was carried out by specialists from the Russian Red Cross organization!

The day ended with a festive dinner, where the best employees were congratulated in a friendly atmosphere!
